For me, even with organic, unless I know the farm and whether the neighbors use pesticides or buy fertilizers. If so, I wash well. Have been on too many farms.
Well, yeah. I do grow a lot myself and buy organic if possible. But I also tend to rationalize safety away. I eat things I pick outside, bypassing the kitchen. I appreciate cooking for others is different, never a good look to make all the company sick.
